Round 9 Report | James Vesper

This week we are joined by Paddington Colts U12's Coach, James Vesper, following his team's defeat by the Leichhardt Wanderers in a challenging game in which the boys fought hard. 

James talks about how the boys have been getting better and better following three years playing together for the Colts and is excited to see them go from strength to strength in the seasons to come. He mentions his memories of playing against the Colts as a kid and is proud to now be part of this great club. James also gives a huge shoutout to the fantastic work of the U12's Manager, Kyrstie Peshos!

Round 8 Report | Jules Parry

This week we are joined by Paddington Colts U9's Coach and Life Member, Jules Parry, following his team's defeat by the Leichhardt Juniors in a tough game where the boys bared their all. 

Jules mentions that even though the boys had a loss, they played one of their best games so far this season in a fast paced and tactical match where each player owned their position on the field. He also talks about how proud he is to be coaching at the Paddington Colts, having played as part of our great club for many years growing up. Alongside trainer Paul Goyoaga, Jules reflects on the positive impact the coaches and trainers had who led the teams he played in as a youngster, and how he carries this through to his own coaching.

Round 7 Report | Adrian Galea

This week we are joined by Paddington Colts U14's Trainer, Adrian Galea, following his team's incredible 50 to nil win over the Newtown Jets.

Adrian talks to us about his first memories of the Paddington Colts, as well as his pride at being part of our young Under 14's coaching team. Working closely with coach Paul Giles, Adrian reflects on the positive environment encouraged at the Paddington Colts that allows our boys to not only become better footballers, but also better men.

Round 6 Report | Andrew 'Shooter' Maguire

This week we are joined by Paddington Colts 2019 Trainer of the Year and current Trainer of the U15's, Andrew 'Shooter' Maguire in a Colts Cast special, following his team's fantastic win in a top of the table clash against the Strathfield Raiders. 

Shooter talks to us about how the team came together under the guidance of Coach, Troy Rugless to play some of their best footy so far this season and celebrated by singing our great club song with gusto!

Round 5 Report | Dave Natoli

This week we are joined by Paddington Colts super coach, Dave Natoli off the back of his U8 Green’s mighty win against the undefeated U8 Reds. With a few missing from the team, the U8 Greens fought hard and came out with a fantastic win. 

Thanks to all parents, players, coaches and managers who came down to support both our U8’s teams on Sunday. In particular, thanks to coaches Dave Natoli and Brett Dalley for leading the charge last Sunday. 

Round 4 Report | Ryan Hayes

This week we are joined by Paddington Colts royalty, U11's coach, and Life Member, Ryan Hayes, who shares his thoughts on what this great club means to him. Having played himself, Ryan now coaches his sons in the mighty U11's, something he is extremely proud of.

We couldn't be more grateful to have amazing members and supporters like the Hayes' family - as we always say, 'Once a Colt, always a Colt'.

Round 3 Report | Brett Gillard

This week we are joined by the U18's coach Brett Gillard who talks us through the incredible display of Paddo Colts spirit from his young team, who were down 22-0 after the first half. After some halftime motivation, the team ended up winning the second half 14-0, finishing the game with a final score of 22-14 to the opposition. Although the boys didn't take home the win this time, they showed great determination and proved that not all losses are bad. 

Nicole Gillard, Manager of the U18's also reflects on the game, as well as her thoughts on the new Paddington Colts hoodies which arrived this week

Round 2 Report | Achilles Peshos

This week we are joined by the U10's coach Achilles Peshos who shares with us his mighty under 10's come from behind victory and his captain Seb Grey's clutch conversion to get the win over the Holy Cross Rhinos!

Achilles also reflects on how far the club has come over the past few years since rejoining the competition and shares some wise words for all the Colt's family.
